A quick note from Afghanistan

Greetings from Bagram Air Field. I really made it out of N.C. over the weekend.
I don't have time for much beyond "Hi, I'm here," but will take time in the next day or so to post a more complete update.
This is Thanksgiving Day, at least where I am. I woke up this morning and stopped to think of all the things I'm thankful for:
- My heavenly Daddy's love and care for me
- Family and friends
- Shelter from the elements
- Hot, good food
- Office mates who are friendly and funny
- Many who are willing to go and do what others can't or won't
- Our great country, and the freedoms we enjoy
