| My plywood door-a luxury |
Until I get a chance to update my blog, here are some pictures I took of my plywood palace. To get the door and the "foyer" I had to stand on the back edge of my bed. But it's all mine, and I can close the world out, to some extent.

I took the picture for my main blog pic of my brand spanking new boots, with the tag still on them. Here are my boots after several months of S.C. red dirt, and dust, grime, snow and slush in Afghanistan. Definitely all broken in, now.
And here is a picture of me with my friend from high school. Who would have thought we'd meet again halfway around the world? We are standing in the entry of Enduring Faith Chapel, at the end of the ChapelNext service. I had the honor of singing in the Praise Team with my friend several times before his National Guard unit redeployed.

Wow! If those boots could talk, what a tale they tell! Everyone sends they're love and prayers. Know that you are NEVER forgotten and are always on our minds. We love you, Colleen! xxoo
Thank you Sharon. The family is always telling me how many people ask about me. But I can't touch that or see that. Letters and emails give me things I can hold and see, and read over and over again.
